I det här inlägget skrev jag att Maria McKee planerade ett nytt album som skulle delfinansieras via Pledgemusic.
Någon Pledgemusic-kampanj dök aldrig upp och hon tog bort det Instagraminlägg där hon först nämnde albumet.
Men nu har hon hintat flera gånger om att skivan nästan är klar. Först talade hon om "Spring/Summer" som releaseperiod och nu "Summer/Fall". Så jag gissar att det blir "Fall".
Nu skriver hon så här om nya skivan, på Instagram:
"The record is wrapping up. I’m reluctant to call it a concept album, however... 'The Fedele d’Amore was an initiatic society of Italian poets, and Dante was the most prominent among them. For these poets, the image of the beloved revealed the Divine Sophia, thereby awakening higher stages of consciousness. For Dante, it was Beatrice who served as his guide.' The Divine Sophia is synonymous with ‘Gnosis’. Too operate in this state in regards to the creative process is life altering."
